Income generation projects

With frightened elevating of widows numbers, it was very important to start new ways to help those poor families. Hundred of thousands of families became women headed. In country like Iraq after 2003 it was impossible for millions of men to have access to jobs markets, rather than women.
Many studies were done by the social department of the society in cooperation with other National & International NGOS to get benefits from all opinion.
It was quite clear that solutions had to come from inside Iraqi community itself.
With the limited capacity the society started big long project to support some of those widows by supplying them with essential tools needed for small, simple
in come generation project.
Choices came from widows .It focus on these activities:-
1- Sewing - sewing machines, cloths, threads & other sewing equipments.
2-Life stock - ewe & its new born sheep with forage
3-Baking – bread Stoves, floor, gas cylinders.
4-Small shops for sailing food items.
5-Small shops for sailing clothes.
6-Hair dressing equipment
7-Small shops for sailing vegetables.
